This drawing reminds me of a cross between a Tibetan temple and a bubblegum-themed fun park.

I was living in an 1880s terrace house in the heart of The Rocks in Sydney at the time, and right after making this drawing, I popped outside to the tourist craft markets on my doorstep and found these earrings, which seemed to echo my drawing’s sentiments. A clear case of life imitating art, wouldn’t you say?
